Our Boats

Millbrook

The flagship of our fleet, Millbrook is a Nelson 42 motor cruiser and a former Southampton pilot boat. She still retains much of her pilot boat layout today. She operates new twin 180hp Volvo diesel engines and has a cruising speed of seven to ten knots, with a maximum of seventeen knots. Nelsons are renowned throughout the world for their seakeeping qualities and Millbrook certainly lives up to this.

She is coded by the MCA (Maritime & Coastguard Agency) for 12 people, which enables us to charter her with skipper for ten passengers and two crew. We also have full RYA recognition to run motor cruising courses, which range from Helmsman to Yachtmaster Offshore.

Maverick

Maverick joined us in November 23, following the retirement of Mustang, who had been with us since we started in 2014. Maverick is also a Humber Ocean Pro 6.8m.

The unique Ocean Pro hull is based on the formerly known Humber Attaque: Humber’s first hull design and seen as one of the best, if not THE best, hull in the rib world. The Humber Attaque was the first rib to cross the Atlantic both ways in separate trips. The hull was further developed as part of the Humber Arctic Challenge Craft, with seakeeping and rugged characteristics second to none.

Our boat is coded to Category 4 with a 3R endorsement. This gives us the capability to take the vessel up to 10 nautical miles from a safe haven all year round and at night. This is the highest coding categorisation possible for an open RIB and allows us to utilise the maximum sea area.

From the Humber RIB's website:

“This range of RIBs will surpass your expectations. Offering the ultimate in all round performance and handling whilst enduring the harshest of sea conditions, and sporting a unique multi-chine deep V hull, a high sheer bow and over sized tube, this model range has proven its superiority and status as the UK’s number one choice.

Designed with maximum versatility which would meet the demands of the professional dive, rescue and commercial operators, whilst its stylish good looks appeals to the sports and leisure user alike. Ideal for the more serious RIB cruising enthusiast, these craft are capable of travelling, faster, further and in more comfort than other comparable craft available on the market”.
