Maritime & Coastguard Agency: The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) implements the government’s maritime safety policy in the UK and works to prevent the loss of life on the coast and at sea. It provides a 24-hour maritime search and rescue service around the UK coast and in the international search and rescue region through HM Coastguard and inspect and survey ships to ensure that they are meeting UK and international safety rules. In addition, it also provides certification to seafarers, register vessels and responds to pollution from shipping and offshore installations.

Marine Traffic AIS (Automated Information System): The Automatic Identification System (AIS) is an automatic tracking system used on ships and by vessel traffic services (VTS) for identifying and locating vessels by electronically exchanging data with other nearby ships, AIS base stations, and satellites. AIS information supplements marine radar, which continues to be the primary method of collision avoidance for water transport. You can use it to find what traffic is in the immediate area, to identify vessels, and even to see Millbrook's current location.
